  • Usage Information: Pages visited, time spent, features used, search queries
  • Transaction Data: Purchase history, EMI schedules, payment history
  • Location Data: Approximate location based on IP address or GPS (if enabled)

  • Processing transactions and EMI applications
  • Customer verification and KYC compliance

Refund Rules & Cancellation Policy

This document outlines UdaarPe's refund and cancellation policies for products, services, and EMI transactions.

1. General Refund Principles

Our refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent:

  • All refund requests are processed within 7-14 business days
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Bank processing fees may be deducted for certain transactions
  • Refund eligibility depends on the nature of the product/service

Important: EMI payments follow different refund rules as outlined in Section 4.

2. Product Refunds

2.1 Physical Products

  • 7-Day Return Policy: Most physical products can be returned within 7 days of delivery
  • Condition Requirements: Products must be unused, in original packaging with all accessories
  • Return Process: Initiate return through your account dashboard
  • Refund Amount: Full product price minus shipping charges (if applicable)
  • Non-Returnable Items: Perishable goods, customized products, intimate apparel

2.2 Digital Products & Services

  • Subscription Services: Pro-rated refunds for unused period
  • Digital Downloads: No refund after download unless defective
  • Software Services: Refunds within 30 days for unsatisfactory service

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 Order Cancellation

  • Before Shipping: Full refund if order is cancelled before shipment
  • After Shipping: Return must be initiated after receiving the product
  • Cancellation Window: Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement
  • Processing Fees: ₹200 cancellation fee for orders cancelled after 24 hours

3.2 Service Cancellation

  • Monthly Subscriptions: Cancel anytime, service continues until end of billing cycle
  • Annual Subscriptions: Pro-rated refund for unused months
  • Shopkeeper Services: 30-day notice period for service termination

4. EMI Refund Rules

4.1 EMI Pre-Closure & Refunds

  • Pre-Closure Charges: 2% of outstanding principal or ₹500, whichever is lower
  • Refund Calculation: Principal amount minus paid installments and charges
  • Processing Time: 10-15 business days for EMI refund processing

4.2 Product Return with Active EMI

  • If a product purchased on EMI is returned, the EMI plan is automatically cancelled
  • Refund amount = (Total price - Paid installments - Processing fees)
  • Future EMI installments are cancelled
  • Credit bureau records are updated accordingly

Example: A ₹30,000 product purchased on 12-month EMI is returned after 3 months. Refund = ₹30,000 - (3 installments) - ₹500 processing fee.

4.3 Default EMI Payments

  • No refunds for defaulted EMI payments
  • Late payment fees and penalties apply as per agreement
  • Credit score may be affected by payment defaults

5. Defective or Damaged Products

  • Reporting Time: Within 48 hours of delivery receipt
  • Evidence Required: Photographs/video of damaged product and packaging
  • Resolution Options: Replacement, repair, or full refund
  • Transportation: We arrange pickup for defective/damaged products

7. Non-Refundable Items & Services

  • Gift cards and vouchers (except as required by law)
  • Digital products after download/activation
  • Customized or personalized products
  • Services already rendered or completed
  • Perishable goods and intimate apparel
  • Payment gateway charges and taxes

8. Dispute Resolution

For refund disputes:

  1. Contact customer support within 30 days of transaction
  2. Provide all relevant documentation and evidence
  3. Our team will investigate and respond within 7 business days
  4. If unsatisfied, you may escalate to our Grievance Officer
  5. Final escalation to consumer forum if required

Important Notice: Fraudulent refund claims may result in account suspension and legal action. We monitor all refund requests for suspicious activity.

Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of UdaarPe platform and services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for an account or using UdaarPe services, you:

  • Accept these Terms and Conditions in their entirety
  • Agree to our Privacy Policy and Refund Rules
  • Confirm you are at least 18 years old and legally competent
  • Agree to provide accurate and complete information

2. Account Registration & Security

2.1 Account Creation

  • You must provide accurate information during registration
  • KYC verification is mandatory for certain services
  • Business accounts require valid GST registration
  • You may not create multiple accounts without authorization

2.2 Account Security

  • You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • We reserve the right to suspend accounts for security reasons
  • Two-factor authentication is recommended for enhanced security

3. Platform Services

3.1 For Customers

  • Browse and purchase products at retail or wholesale prices
  • Apply for EMI financing subject to eligibility
  • Track orders and manage payments
  • Access customer support services

3.2 For Shopkeepers

  • List products and manage inventory
  • Create invoices and manage orders
  • Offer EMI options to customers
  • Access business analytics and reporting
  • Verify customer credentials and creditworthiness

4. EMI Services Terms

4.1 Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum age: 21 years
  • Valid Indian resident with KYC documents
  • Minimum monthly income: ₹25,000 (salaried) or ₹50,000 (self-employed)
  • Valid bank account and mobile number
  • Credit score check may be required

4.2 EMI Agreement

  • EMI approval is at our sole discretion
  • Interest rates vary based on credit profile and tenure
  • Processing fees may apply (disclosed during application)
  • EMI schedules are binding once accepted
  • Prepayment options available with applicable charges

4.3 Default Consequences

  • Late payment fees: 2% per month on overdue amount
  • Account suspension after 30 days of default
  • Credit bureau reporting for defaults exceeding 90 days
  • Legal recovery proceedings for significant defaults

5. Fees & Payments

5.1 Transaction Fees

  • Payment gateway charges: 2% (included in product price)
  • EMI processing fees: 1-3% of loan amount (varies by tenure)
  • Shopkeeper commission: 5-15% based on product category
  • No hidden charges - all fees disclosed upfront

5.2 GST & Taxes

  • All applicable taxes are included in displayed prices
  • GST invoices provided for all transactions
  • Tax compliance is the responsibility of shopkeepers

6. Intellectual Property

  • All platform content, logos, and designs are our property
  • You may not copy, modify, or distribute platform content
  • Product listings belong to respective shopkeepers
  • User-generated content grants us a license for platform use

7. User Obligations & Restrictions

7.1 Prohibited Activities

  • Fraudulent transactions or identity misrepresentation
  • Listing prohibited or illegal products
  • Price manipulation or cartel behavior
  • Circumventing platform security measures
  • Spamming or harassing other users
  • Violating intellectual property rights

7.2 Content Guidelines

  • Product descriptions must be accurate and complete
  • No false advertising or misleading claims
  • Reviews must be genuine and not defamatory
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

8. Liability & Disclaimers

8.1 Platform Availability

We strive for 24/7 platform availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for:

  • Temporary platform unavailability
  • Third-party service interruptions
  • Technical issues beyond our control

8.2 Product Quality

We act as an intermediary platform. Shopkeepers are responsible for:

  • Product quality and authenticity
  • Accurate product descriptions
  • Timely delivery and customer service
  • Warranty and after-sales support

8.3 Limitation of Liability

Our maximum liability is limited to:

  • The transaction value for direct losses
  • Exclusion of indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Time-bound claims (must be filed within 6 months)

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account:

  • For violation of these Terms
  • For fraudulent or illegal activities
  • For prolonged inactivity (12+ months)
  • At our discretion with 30 days notice

Upon termination:

  • Access to platform services is revoked
  • Outstanding payments become immediately due
  • We may retain data as per Privacy Policy

10. Dispute Resolution

10.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Indian law. Courts in Mumbai have exclusive jurisdiction.

10.2 Resolution Process

  1. Direct negotiation with customer support
  2. Mediation through our Grievance Officer
  3. Arbitration as per Indian Arbitration Act
  4. Legal proceedings as last resort

10.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes individually, not as part of any class action.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

  • Minor changes: Effective immediately upon posting
  • Major changes: 30 days notice before implementation
  • You will be notified of significant changes via email
